40 Years Young
The plot follows a 40-year-old chef named Cesar, who faces a series of unpleasant news that is exacerbated by a mid-life crisis. Overnight he buries his elderly mother, learns that his son Enrique is not his own, and that his wife Amelia has actually been in love all along with the bandit Horacio, who has spent the last 10 years in prison. Having lost his family and the meaning of life, the man falls into a deep depression, but at a difficult moment his best friend Paolo comes to his rescue. On his advice the main character decides to distract himself by participating in an important culinary contest in Cancun.
